In 2005, they started seeing a decline in spending on pools and patio furniture. Clearwater Pools came to us to create an exciting way to increase sales, and what better way than to portray the benefits of investing in a pool for the family versus a "one-time" vacation.Media Infocus Studios of Connecticut created a promotion called the "Ultimate Backyard Family Vacation", which included a set of radio commercials that supported a sales circular which went to 100,000 homes throughout the Litchfield county area.Both radio commercials were produced with professional voice over talent who spoke in a thick, Australian accent to add to the sense of adventure. The settings were centered around a "Desert Survival" vacation and an "Amazon Safari". Each commercial painted a picture of a family survival vacation in treacherous areas of the world and featured humorous sound effects to help the listener "visualize" the benefits of a safe, backyard vacation at home...with their new pool.Check out the radio spots here.
